In the US, brokerage is a conditional profession. Brokers must undergo a variety of specialized courses and pass exams to get certifications before starting their job. Besides, real estate brokers in this country are regularly required to extend their diplomas / certificates. According to data from the Bureau of Economic Analysis of the United States (BEA), the US’s GDP in the second quarter of 2020 decreased approximately 33% - an all-time low. In that situation, the US government has made many moves to help stabilize the market, in particular the federal unemployment benefits worth $2.2 trillion approved by the US Congress in March 2020. After the bailout expired on July 31, President D. Trump continued to sign executive orders extending financial assistance to tens of millions of Americans who were unemployed due to the pandemic, along with supporting to student loan, extending mortgage repayment term and exempting personal income tax for US citizens. In addition, the government's economic activation supports have also helped consumers and businesses get loans with low interest rates (3.75 percent / year).
